Night-A-Mins is very easy to use. Just dip your index finger into the container to get a small amount on your fingertip, and then work it into the areas of your skin that you want to treat. We recommend applying it to the forehead, nose and cheekbone areas. (It doesn’t function as well in the fields of stubble on the chin and upper neck.) The product is also positioned as a neck cream, but even at the risk of “turkey neck” much later in life, we’re more interested in the anti-aging impact on the face.
The very coolest thing about Night-A-Mins is the cooling sensation it provides right after application. After washing your face or taking a warm shower, it’s relaxing and refreshing to apply this product because of its gel-like, cold compress effect on your skin. So one thumb up to Night-A-Mins for the feeling it gives you when you use it. Think of it as a moment atop the Alps after a hot, sweaty day in the trenches. And we give Night-A-Mins another thumb up because it dries cleanly and lightly on your face within a few minutes, leaving you thankfully free of any “money shot” issues that might accompany other night creams.
The big question: does it really work? We can’t give you a complete answer, because the touted anti-aging benefits of Night-A-Mins are evident only over time. But we can say that it provides both a soothing and a smoothing benefit when you use it. The only drawback to this product is its price, $39.50 for a jar. To paraphrase our friends at ESPN, “C’mon, Night-A-Man!” When used judiciously – meaning every night, but in modest amounts – we find that a jar of lasts about 3 months. So, not crazy expensive over time, but a sizeable chunk of change for a product that may fall into the discretionary spending category for many a man….
