Today, October 1, 2015, is the first official International Coffee Day as agreed upon by the International Coffee Organization and will be launched in Milan. [Sidebar – the US just celebrated it’s National Coffee Day 9/29.] The International Coffee Organization was established in 1963 in collaboration with the United Nations (UN) to enhance cooperation between nations that consume, distribute, and produce coffee. It now consists of 48 members; 40 are exporting nations, 7 are importing nations, and 1 is an importing community (the European Union). Blah blah blah… So why are we starting off with this info on coffee? Well, you know the team here at MP loves coffee and loves grooming (products). So in honor of the world’s first Coffee Day, we thought - why not use this opportunity to mix the two subjects together? |
