HBV - Hair Buildup Virus!?

WARNING:  We interrupt your regularly scheduled program to bring you this important public announcement.  There has been an epidemic viral outbreak of the HB (Hair Buildup) Virus!  The officials are setting up quarantine sites to develop a permanent curse to this disease.  In the meantime we advise all personnel to stay alert and follow the below safety instructions to minimize the risk of build up.

Who

Does your hair often feel extremely greasy, weighed down, and at times just flat out irritating?  These could be common symptoms associated with the HB (Hair Buildup) Virus.  It doesn’t matter if you are a male or a female, a teenager or a senior citizen.  We are ALL AT THE RISK OF THE HAIR BUILD UP!!!!  The only difference that sets individuals apart is the level of chemicals he or she comes into contact with on a daily basis.  Depending on your way of life (daily habits, job, location, etc.), some individuals are more likely to contract the HB Virus than others.

What

The “What” in this case implies to two things: 1) What is Hair Buildup and 2) What is the readily available solution.  As touched upon lightly in the “Who” section, HBV can happen to anyone and everyone.  The only variance in this case is the degree of exposure one comes across.  There are all kinds of stuff that builds up on our hair: residues from hair products, minerals deposits, chemicals in water and air, sweat, and even regular hair shampoos.  All these materials build up over time, leaving one’s hair greasy, dirty, dull and irritating.  Long term effects of hair buildup include, scalp irritation, dandruff, foul odor, and hair loss.

Fear not feeble minded citizens, there are solutions to minimizing and suppressing the HB Virus.  The most reliable and convenient solution is using the Clarifying Shampoo.  The wondrous thing about this product is that most, if not all of us have used it at least once in our lives.  The main ingredient that identifies clarifying shampoo is acetic acid.  This is a mild chemical acid compound commonly found in vinegar and is known for its de-scaling abilities.  Two things to note: 1) Although the clarifying shampoo works as a perfect agent in getting rid of hair buildup, it does not work well as a conditioner product.  Excessive usage of clarifying shampoo will cause your hair to dry up and lose it’s smooth texture.  It is recommended to keep the usage at once a week or bi-monthly depending on individual’s extent of hair buildup.  It is also recommended to apply conditioner as a complementary product in restoring some of the lost nutrients from the hair.  2) Not all shampoos will be listed as Clarifying Shampoos.  The best way to distinguish regular shampoo from clarifying shampoo is to look at the ingredients listed on the label of the product.

Why

At this point if you are still asking why?!?!, then you sir, are doomed, hopeless, and GAMEOVER!!!  The simple thought of having clean and fresh hair will not only leave you happy, but also serves as a common courtesy to those around you.  Unless you want to be a victim of HBV, we HIGHLY recommend you to follow the above instructions and prepare yourself for this outbreak!  This is what proper grooming is all about.

Heed our warning, stay alert, and best of luck!

We now return you to your regularly scheduled program...
