OH YES! Your favorite folks over at ManPossible are at it again! Something about the privilege of living in the land of the free and using female grooming products gives us that extra sense of confidence. Don’t laugh; you know exactly what we are talking about. For the more hip folks, we highly advise you to stop wearing your girlfriend’s skinny jeans and transition to some proper female grooming products instead. They really do work wonders; if you need a refresher, check out some of our past male adopted articles here, here and here.
Back to today’s post… What we have here today is the Batman and Robin of hair washing. Instead of boring you guys with the history and usage, we are going to get right into the action. For starters, this dynamic duo isn’t your average shampoo and conditioner, no sir. These guys came prepared and ready for the Spring/Summer adventure. In front of us are two 40 FL OZ (each) liquid concoction infused with the scent and nutrients of Indian Cassia and Purple Fig. Sound appetizing? At minimum healthy. We thought so too. Similar to how Batman and Robin shared the same pair of trousers (so we think), both Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner both have the common aroma of the fruit and flower. The scent is subtle and pleasant to the nose. The initial contact with the product also brings out hints of peaches and cream, while the lingering note triggers memories of summer picnics. Shampoo The main difference between the shampoo and conditioner bottles is the color of the pump nozzle. The shampoo comes in a clear white color, while the conditioner sports a light green look. 2 to 3 pumps are enough to yield a generous amount of a clear and translucent substance with a semi-thick texture. At first, the look and feel is similar to that of liquid soap. Speaking of soap, once the shampoo comes into contact with a bit of water, this baby goes right to work. As you start washing your hair, the friction between your hair, fingers and water results in generous creation of bubbles that easily extends across the entire surface of the scalp and beyond. It’s worth noting that the kinetic energy from the application continues to intensify the fragrance, making the entire shower process seem like your swimming in a pool filled with flower petals and vibrant fruits. Once you rinse off the soapy residue, the overall texture of your hair is actually a bit on the dry side and rigid to the touch… perhaps a signal that excessive grease and dirt have been removed from your scalp and hair. Conditioner To help bring shine and moisture (the good kind) back into the hair, we then rejuvenate it with the conditioner. Unlike its shampoo counterpart, the conditioner comes in a milky white cream color. The texture of the formula is also a tiny bit more firm and thick to the touch. Similar to most conditioners, it requires a little extra H2O and a bit more force from the hands to get things going. As one works the formula across the scalp and into the hair, you can feel a thin coat of lathery force field shielding each hair strand. Once you give enough time for the conditioner and hair to mingle, it’s onto rinsing. What we are left at the end is a silky, luscious, and aromatic head of hair. If there’s anything to be learned from this experience (trust us, there is), it’s that us men should not only embrace more fragrant grooming products, but also hit up the juice bar more often. There is something about this perfect marriage of flower and fruit that leaves a calm and lingering scent in the air. Sure, people might look at you funny because of the scent you’re emitting. Sure, your girlfriend might think you’re not being faithful or your mother might actually think you have a girlfriend! All of these “what if” scenario simply don’t matter when you are using these marvelous products, Pantene Essential Botanicals Shampoo and Conditioner. What matters at the end of your shower is that you sir, are one with nature and your hair loves it. by ManPossible

Thank you. Just what I needed to know. Smells nice, but not overwhelming. Stopped using Pantene products because the sickening perfume lingered all day.
