What we have here is the Rivera English Laundry by Christopher Wicks. This product comes in a 1.7 oz ($56) or a 3.4 oz ($76) transparent square glass container. The base of the glass emits a dark purple hue and lightens in intensity as it you get closer to the top. If you are the type that purchases your alcohol based on the design of the bottle (why would anyone do that?!), then consider yourself a lucky man. The look and feel of the cologne bottle complements the contents within.
Applying a similar “nosing” gesture as you would when sampling and appreciating whisky, this cologne slowly unveiled its secrets... 1) Bringing the nozzle closer to our nose, our sense of smell is immediately hit by a concentrated blast of alcohol of some sort. 2) Bringing the bottle back to our nose a second time, we started to pick up distinctive ingredients. 3) Repeating the back-and-forth motion with the bottle for 2 – 3 times, we noticed the strength of alcohol depleting, while other fragrances you didn’t notice before (citrus, nutmeg, oak moss and sandalwood) began to take a more permeating presence. If we are honest (which we always are), we are quite fond of this fragrance. The light aroma isn’t too strong to the nose and definitely doesn’t overpower your surrounding environment. As you progress throughout the day, you’ll notice the subtle hint emitting from your skin, giving you that unexpected pleasant reminder. The best way to describe this cologne is to compare it to a fine bottle of whisky; the flavor (scent) becomes more intricate the longer you indulge it. by ManPossible
