A Two Year Old's Promise

As of September 10th, our very own ManPossible turned 2 years old!  This is a huge milestone for all of us (especially those with commitment issues).  Of course, none of this would have been possible without all of you beautiful people and everyone on the MP team.  We love you all and appreciate all your support throughout this journey together!!

It is with this heartfelt introduction that we’d like to briefly revisit our start…

It was Monday, September 9th, 2013.  We were working into the wee hours of the night trying to make sure everything was perfect.  At the time we were working remotely from our own homes and have been communicating over the phone and via Google Chat.  Finally, around 12:00AM PST, everything looked OK for us to hit the “Launch” button to publish the site live.  Even after the site was live, we spent hours monitoring everything.  Even though we were tired, even though we had work the next day, something about seeing our hard work come to life, brought a satisfying smile to our faces.  Just like that, our first article titled “We Have Liftoff” was published!!

Fast-forward two years and lots have changed with a few things remaining the same.  For starters, we as a team have grown bigger and smarter.  Our community has expanded; we are seeing many new readers coming to MP on a daily basis and have built a reputable relationship with popular brand partners.  Our overall content offerings have also broadened; there are hundreds of articles ranging between grooming to lifestyle interests.

We’ve been preaching this since launch and will continue to do so, “Let’s be honest with ourselves”.  We will be the first to admit that MP isn’t nearly where we’d envisioned it to be when we first started.  There are lots to be done.  On that note, we’d like to apologize for the recent lack of weekly article uploads.  Nevertheless, we want to make it clear that this will change and change for the better!!

As we sit here re-reading the first article for the 100th time, there’s a sudden rush of emotions that fill our hearts.  The launch team two years ago sounded excited, hopeful and eager for the future!!  Along the journey we’ve learned a lot and have also grown a lot.  The team today are even more excited, hopeful and eager to change the future!!  We have big plans for ManPossible in the coming months.  The team has been working hard and has a long roadmap planned out.  It would be our pleasure to continue down this amazing journey with all of you!!

On that note, we will leave you with our promise…

“ManPossible will be the voice, the entertainment, the information, the guide, the simplicity, the chic, the friend, when it comes to impossible grooming needs.  Because we know no two shaves are alike.  It’s simple yet complicated.  Like dating, perhaps… sometimes it’s smooth, sometimes it’s bumpy.  For that matter, no grooming experiences are alike.  We want you to feel good everyday!!...

I hope this will be an experience you look forward to and seek on a daily basis… kind of like your morning shaving ritual and grooming routine.  I hope that your daily one step with ManPossible will be a giant leap for all your Grooming(LIFE)Kinds!!”
