The Miracle Lotion?

“The miracle lotion” as referenced by many loyal users, is also known as the 2012 Allure’s Best of Beauty Award Winner - Skin Recovery Cream. 

This too, is made by, non other than Avene.  That’s right folks, we’re reviewing yet another Avene product, and like the three other Avene products we've covered in the past, this one is a smash hit as well.

By now we’re pretty confident that you already know about the Avene brand and its serious product line concocted at their Dermatological Hydrotherapy Center by their Dermatological Laboratories in France.  This arguably is one of the first places where they have treated sensitive skin and other skin disorders for more than two centuries and counting.  As such, the Skin Recovery Cream is formulated using a minimum number of ingredients selected for their gentleness and has very similar chemical compounds found in the Extremely Gentle Cleaner Lotion, which are intended for use on hypersensitive and irritable skin.

The Skin Recovery Cream is hypoallergenic, non-comedogenig and contains no preservatives, fragrance, alcohol, or colorants that could irritate the skin.  This cream is the result of two unique processes:  manufacturing and conditioning in a sterile environment and a protected formula using the exclusive patented Device for Exclusive Formula Integrity (D.E.F.I.) system which helps soothe irritation quickly, restore damaged hydrolipidic film while providing effective and long-lasting protection for your skin.  It aids in normalizing skin that has become aggravated from cosmetic irritants or environmental factors, calming and comforting on contact while replenishing the skin's natural moisture barrier to reduce and prevent sensitivity.

There are many companies out there that shout they may have the best cosmetic products and most users buy into the heavy marketing promises of these brands, but customers are often left disappointed.  Sound familiar?  One thing to know about companies like Avene is that they thrive on their product reputation and results.  Based on our experience, when they say their product works for a certain skin type, it really works.  One quick search on the Internet for Avene, you won’t find any reviews with less than 4 stars.  For $32 you get a 1.69 fl. oz. tube of lotion greatness and it can be used on daily by applying in the morning and/or evening after cleansing with Avene Extremely Gentle Cleanser, and post applying the Thermal Spring Water spray for a complete skin makeover in the comfort of your own home.  After just three days of morning/night use, there were noticeable results on our t-zone.  Our skin appeared more hydrated, softer and clearer.  So if you have sensitive skin, and your current moisturize isn't doing any justice, we recommend giving the Skin Recovery Cream by Avene a shot.  You have nothing to lose and your skin has everything to gain; take our word for it!
