Side-bar here, prefaced by the disclaimer that we have no experience with certain purple pills – neither medical nor recreational. But what exactly is it about the 4-hour mark that means the alarm bells should suddenly go off? In all honesty, wouldn’t you start to get just a little bit worried by, say, the 3:45 mark? We don’t know about you, but we think that any refractory period lasting as long as it takes an elite runner to bang out a mile is cause for concern….
OK, back to over-the-counter products. For those of you unfamiliar with Origins, it’s a cosmetics company best known for its natural skincare products. You can shop for Origins products at their standalone retail locations (which are often located within shopping malls), at dedicated spaces within large department stores or at origins.com. Night-A-Mins is a night cream, so you apply it to the face and neck before lights-out. As the product’s tagline indicates – “Mineral-enriched oil-free renewal cream” – it’s intended to combat wrinkles and other signs of aging, by refreshing and rejuvenating your skin.
The external packaging for Night-A-Mins neatly conveys the Origins identity as a modern natural products company. It’s a small, square box made of lightweight cardboard that deploys white, light green and dark green – both as background colors, and to communicate the printed information on the box. The Origins logo, two BFF trees standing side-by-side, is featured prominently on the box, in dark green. Inside is a compact, circular plastic container containing 1.7 oz . of Night-A-Mins. The jar is a burnt orange or caramel type color, with raised bright white printing sprayed directly onto it, and it has a white screw-on top. The jar should fit neatly into your medicine cabinet, or on your bathroom sink/countertop area.
