How many of you have come across the popularly known "Blue Stuff" by Kiehl's?  The one that has made it to a lot of men's grooming ritual since 1964?  Well, that cooling blue stuff just got a little bit cooler.  MP was invited to attend the unveiling of Kiehl's x Makos exhibit in L.A. benefiting OCRF (Ovarian Cancer Research Fund).  Thanks Kiehl's for the invite and we look forward to a continued success!

As Kiehl's celebrates the 50th Anniversary of its Blue Astringent Herbal Lotion, the 163-year-old skin care company has unveiled a new Limited Edition bottle designed by renowned photographer and artist, Christopher Makos.  The artwork features a composite of 18 of Makos' iconic photos paying homage to New York City, and the bottle is now available in-stores.

The coolness of this little blue bottle doesn't stop there.  This week, Kiehl's hosted the ceremonial unveiling of an in-store exhibit and auction featuring the works of Christopher Makos at their Robertson store.  The party launches their online sale and auction of the Limited Edition bottle art, which proceeds will go to benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Funds.  Guests and celebs, including famed DJ Samantha Ronson, Gilles Marini, Ali Landry, Heather McDonald all joined the celebration at the West Hollywood store to commemorate the arts and the great cause in which the auction supports.

This celebration not only sheds light to Kiehl's good works in giving back to the community, but also goes to show that that little blue bottle has come a long way and goes a long way.

For generations real men have used this Blue Astringent bottle and now you can be a part of that history with this Limited Bottle edition.  Don't you have a whole new found appreciation for that cool magical blue bottle of goodness sitting in your cupboard now?  If not, go out and pick up a bottle or order online: $18 for a 8.4 fl. oz.
