MEN SHOULD NOT WAX:
Eyebrows - As much as eyebrows define our overall facial appearance, it is HIGHLY recommended that men do NOT wax their eyebrows. Leave it for the ladies. It’s quite common for men to have thicker eyebrows due to our genetic makeup. However, if your eyebrows are not hanging down from the edges and unibrow doesn’t faze you, then you do not need to wax them. The sculpted look is NOT for us. There are other methods. A quick trim with scissors or couple plucks with tweezers are all you need.
Armpit Hair - Our female counterparts tend to shave or wax their armpit. The ladies being ladies, often keep their underarm bare and smooth for that added feeling of being more feminine. Society has molded us to expect that we males have and retain our armpit hair. Just to be clear, retaining our armpit hair does not mean we leave it at full length and don’t give any grooming attention to it. It means we should trim it and make sure it’s kept at bay. A bit of armpit hair adds a sense of masculinity?! (to be debated)
Arm and Leg Hair - Your arm and your leg tend to be the most visible parts of your body. With that being said, it’s also the most noticeable, if one were to be hairy. If you haven’t noticed, it’s quite common for some to have thick and visible hairs on their arms. Does this mean we should make it an occasional habit of waxing our arms and our legs? We are going to make the case that it’s not necessary. Again, this goes back to genetics and personal comfort. If your arms and legs don’t resemble that of a primate, then there probably isn’t a need to wax it… Unless of course you’re trying to break the world record on the 100 meter butterfly event.
Chest Hair - Now we are getting to a part of our body that’s much more debatable. We’ve heard people say if you rub raw garlic and onion against your chest continuously, you’ll eventually grow a set of chest hair. Not sure why anyone would do that, but some guys at MP are already trying this theory out. Whether that theory is true, remains to be seen. After asking some females about their personal preference for chest hair, surprisingly most of them showed interest and welcomed it!!! Very surprised here!!! All we can say here is that, as long as you give your chest hair some needed grooming attention of trimming and lotion application, let your lady friend guide the rest.
MEN SHOULD WAX:
Back Hair - The biggest difference between having chest hair and back hair is severity of the crime you are about to commit. Having chest hair is like evading your taxes; you only get in trouble when you get caught. But, having back hair is like taking candy from a baby; no matter how cool you think you are, you’re bound to be hated by most (females). To further justify, we’ve asked the same females who answered yes to chest hairs about their preference for back hair, and (no surprise here) almost all of them agreed that back hair or a hairy back is a huge turnoff. One said the only way guys will get away with having back hair is if she were to be drunk off her ass to not care or notice. Let’s be real, if people are able to see hair coming out of your shoulders, something needs to be done about it. The back being hard to get to when it comes to grooming, it’s definitely a wise and recommended choice to have it waxed (by a professional), if you are hairy as fudge.
Ass Hair - Haha… laugh we must, but this is a serious issue. There are a good number of people who are so hairy that they have hair growing on their behind. We are not talking about just a few odd strands looking like their lost; we are talking about a noticeable amount of ass hair that will make people cringe with disgust. There is no way you are going to get any further than a dinner and a movie if you have that in your back pocket. We definitely advice you to spend some time to get that patch properly waxed. Now who would do this for you?... that would be a different matter.
The growth of every individual’s body hair is in direct relation to one’s genetic makeup. But, one of the most important aspects of grooming ultimately comes down to an individual’s overall feel. It’s not a crime to have body hair, but it is a crime when we do not know how to properly care for it.
