Enter the Fresh Collection, Old Spice’s new line of deodorants which is our armpit odor weapon of choice today. You may know Old Spice for having those wacky commercials on TV - we don’t think anyone can really pinpoint what the premise of the commercial is. However, we’re betting that those commercials send subliminal messages, so when you are in the hygiene section at your local drug store and you see the Old Spice brand, you’ll immediately think of their weird commercials and pull the trigger on their best smelling deodorant. That’s exactly what we did and how we stumbled upon its new Fresh Collection, which comes in five different scents. After sniffing the entire line, we decided to go with the Fiji scent as it smells like palm trees, sunshine and freedom; no really, that’s what the cap says and we concur. When it comes to deodorant, I think it’s safe to assume that most guys shop based on scent and they tend to stick with one brand for a while. They may switch up the scents here and there, but they will still stick with their current brand. If you need an antiperspirant, no problem, the Fresh Collection offers them as well. “For the cost of a stick of antiperspirant, you can send your armpits to the exotic islands of Fiji where they will smell like palm trees and sunshine. Compare that to sending your entire body to Fiji, which costs thousands.” And that’s what Old Spice website raps about when it comes to their Fiji antiperspirant scent. We love the fact that we send our armpits to Fiji every morning of everyday, but we would really really love it, if our entire body was there as well. Know what we mean jelly bean?
The Fresh Collection is available at your local drug store for about $7 bucks. The collection also offers a body wash as well, which we wouldn't mind trying. Maybe that’s how we would take our entire body to Fiji, by washing it with their body wash every morning. Wink Wink. So, if you want a new, subtle and fresh deodorant or antiperspirant scent while your armpits vacation in the tropics, may we recommend the Fresh Collection from Old Spice.
