We know what some of you may be thinking… this should be on WomanPossible not on ManPossible!  Trust us fellas, your mind may say, “no”, but your body will say, “yes”.  It may sound so feminine, but your skin will feel great!

“This is the absolute BEST and only cleanser I use”.  “My must have for sensitive skin”.  “I absolutely love it”… are just a few of the many comments made by users when it comes to the Extremely Gentle Cleaner Lotion made by none other than Avène.  As you may recall, we've reviewed other products by Avene in the past and based on all of the positive buzz around this cleanser, we didn't expect anything less of it.  Formulated for hypersensitive and irritable skin, with only eleven simple ingredients, this cleanser sounded like a winner.  And after trying it for ourselves, we couldn't agree more!

Avène is a trusted source when it comes to skin therapy and rejuvenation.  It offers an extensive line of products specifically engineered for varying skin types.  The Extremely Gentle Cleaner Lotion is a no-rinse cleanser, rich in Avène Thermal Spring Water, formulated with the patented active ingredient PARCERINE - which is an amino-acid for therapeutic purposes used for maximum tolerance – whatever that mean, it sounds pretty serious.  Avène’s Extremely Gentle Cleanser Lotion removes dirt, oil and impurities without disrupting your skin's delicate moisture balance.  This soap-free formula may be used without water and is ideal for post-procedure (if your zip code falls within the Beverly Hills or Newport Beach area) use to relieve dryness, itching, stinging or burning.

This cleanser is designed to reduce skin reactivity so the plant-based cleansing agent is well-tolerated by even the most sensitive skin type.  It can be used on the face and eyes to sooth.  Soften and calm the skin.  And is perfect for people that suffer from Rosacea and those with dry intolerant skin.  A concentration of Avene Thermal Spring Water calms irritation and soothe inflammation.  The cleanser can be applied in the morning and evening with a cotton pad or with fingertips by simply massaging in light circular movements while the excess can be tissued off gently without rubbing (yes, you too guys).

We know what some of you may be thinking… this should be on WomanPossible not on ManPossible!  Trust us fellas, your mind may say, “no”, but your body will say, “yes”.  It may sound so feminine, but your skin will feel great!

The Cleanser comes in a 6.76 oz bottle and is available at a number of online retailers for around $23.  Although a bit on the pricier side when it comes to comparing cleansers that are available at your local drug store, its benefits may be worth a try.  So, if you have sensitive skin (or live in Beverly Hills or Newport Beach) and are in the market for a new gentle cleanser that will change your life, we encourage you to take a look at Avène’s Extremely Gentle Cleanser Lotion, you’ll be glad you did.  For once, you may be a step closer to understanding how the other half of the population lives, when it comes to “grooming”.
