Ever find yourself lost, frustrated or simply stressed?  When that happens, what is your first instinct?  Do you hop in your car and go for a drive, stuff your face with food, or call up some friends to hangout?  In addition to your go to fast fix, we at ManPossible would like to propose a healthier and more productive alternative:  Grooming Therapy!
Yes Sir!  You heard us correctly.  Grooming therapy is a productive and healthy term ManPossible came up with to help everyone cope during that down time period.  The idea is to use grooming as a method to help calm and occupy one’s mind.

Below are just a few of the recommended grooming activities one can use as a method for Grooming Therapy:

Shaving:

Shaving might be a daily task for most, but when enough thought and care is put into it, this 10 minute process can be life changing.  The act of shaving requires the individual to plan ahead and put a good amount of attention into the process; it’s a very methodical process… try using a straight edge… it’ll demand your complete concentration!  Instead of putting yourself down in front of a mirror, try picking up a razor and work on giving yourself a fresh new look.  It’s quite therapeutic.

Styling:

When you are caught in a situation where you feel like pulling out all your hair, we advice you to do the complete opposite, style your hair.  It’s easy to pick up a pair of scissors and chop off a chunk of hair or take a buzzer to the head and leave an open patch.  However, it takes a lot of planning and meticulous effort to get the perfect hairdo.  You can use that time to look handsome (or pretty) while at the same time, work on sorting out all the issues in life.  BTW, coloring also helps… play with all sorts of color, if you’re brave enough!

Showering [or bathing]:

Showering is by far one of our favorite topics and activities when it comes to grooming.  Let’s face it, we simply can’t get enough of playing with water.  Sure it’s great and even exciting to go out for a drive with the windows down and the wind in your face.  But, what if we tell you that you can get that same calm and thrilling sensation right in your very own bathroom?  You heard us right, next time you are looking for a place to think or clear your head, simply get butt naked and hop into the shower.  The action of immersing one’s self under running water allows us to focus on our inner thoughts and ourselves.  If you really want to get a shot of adrenaline, simply turn the nob from hot to cold…

Washing Face:

Even though washing your face is regarded as a simple and common routine, how many of us actually take the time to do it [properly]?  When you find yourself stressed or overwhelmed at work, walk to your nearest restroom and do a quick face wash.  Right when your face gets hit with that crisp and refreshing H2O, you’ll feel as if you’ve been revived.  A clear head and calm mind can be easily achieved with a quick face wash.

As we all move forward during our busy day, remember to take a quick grooming therapy break to realign yourself.  We at ManPossible would like to wish everyone stay groomed and be happy!
