L’ANZA Healing Color Care Color Preserving Conditioner.

Every lady has her favorite purse, and every purse holds the secret to the universe.  Us men also have our trusty products when it comes to getting a proper groom.  For a hair fanatic like me, I make sure my grooming kit comes equipped with the necessary products to keep my hair in top notch condition.

Today we will discuss how to better care for one’s dyed hair.  After spending countless hours getting the proper haircut and giving it the perfect color, it would be a shame to finish off the process with some gimmick hair cleaning product off the shelf…  With at least three plus years of self hair dying experience and countless bottles of black, red and blue hair dye used, I believe I am more than qualified to write this piece.

For individuals who are looking to go from a darker hair color to a lighter and flashier tone, one of the most common products to use along with the  hair dye is bleach.  It’s a no brainer that bleach is extremely harmful to your hair if not, your brain cells; just look at me.  In the hair dying process, bleach acts as a diluting agent that utilizes both chemical and time to remove pigments in one’s hair.  Depending on how long you leave this stuff on, it will affect both the color and texture of the hair. As a side note, there are other home remedies people use to act as a diluting agent for the hair (We will discuss those products in our future articles).

The product I use is L’ANZA Healing Color Care Color Preserving Conditioner.  Aside from the name itself being a mouthful, the product lists the following features: “Flower Shield Complex & Keratin Healing System.  Extend haircolor up to 107% longer.”  Nothing says proper care like flower power.  Once you wash your hair with your preferred shampoo, simply apply the conditioner on your hair and scrub it evenly.  To get the best out of this stuff, make sure to leave the product in your hair for at least five minutes or more.  It’s also good to mention that the conditioner gives off a pleasant and refreshing scent of flowers… definitely manly.

The beauty of this product comes to life once you rinse off the conditioner.  Instead of the usual dry feel you get after dying your hair, this conditioner leaves each strand silky-soft and gives off a proper shine.  On top of what you can see and touch, there is an added effect in which the remarkable flower shield complex contains natural anti-fade compounds from flowers to preserve your new hair color.  What you get my friend, is soft and silky hair that not only smells great, but also retains the color for many occasions to come.
