Answer: They all wear SUPER skinny jeans, or as I’d like to call: “your mom’s jeans”.
Insults and laughter aside, I’d like to bring up a serious topic, one that transcends time and even baffles the mind of Einstein himself. I am talking about the pet peeve of us guys using female skincare products.
Don’t give me that face. You know exactly what I am talking about.
I guess I’ll start things off with some of my own hygienic pet peeves. Being a young and handsome mid 20s male myself, I have a tendency to be very protective of my face. With that said, the girlfriend and I would have a weekly facial night. I’ll admit, I was initially forced to try on the mask as a form of couple bonding. However, after one to two tries I was hooked. The simple act of rinsing your face with cold water and scrubbing it clean with face wash, followed by lying on a comfy couch and applying a cool and refreshing stripe of mask is very relaxing. Takes notes fellas, this gives you extra brownie points from the girlfriend. Talk about win, win!
When it comes to taking a shower, I know there are numerous soaps and shower gels catered to the manly man. Both Axe and Old Spice do a fantastic job in portraying their product to the audience. I’ve used various products from both of these brands, but always find myself going back to shower gels aimed at females. Don’t get me wrong guys, Axe and Old Spice are good brands and the products are worth trying out. However, the scents these gels give off just don’t appeal to me. It reminds me of “that” particular cologne you smell when you’re in a male locker room. You know exactly what I’m talking about; the pungent smell of one too many sprays leaving the individual’s nostrils in the state of paralysis. I get that smelling good is the key here, however let’s keep the “good” smell to ourselves. When it comes to showering, I am a fan of the Olay brand shower gel. The shower gel does not give off an overpowering scent and it offers a soft and moist coat that lasts well after the shower. If you are like me and have grown sick of the over hyped “lady’s man” shower gel, do some research online and start to explore alternative options in the female section. Ain’t no shame! Looking good and feeling good is part of our human rights.
Aside from face mask and shower gel, I am also a fan of female hair dyes simply because they offer a wider range of color selection. When staying out in the sun I’d use the girlfriend’s skin lotion to stay moist. These are just bits of grooming and health pet peeves I have in preferring female products over male ones. Let’s be honest, a lot of beauty and health products that are geared towards females are equally if not more beneficial for males. Due to the social standards of how male and females are perceived and profitability for brand (which I will not get into), we automatically shy away from what is good for our body. The founding fathers of America would be ashamed if they knew we weren’t exercising our basic right of freedom; the right to choice!
Go ahead gents, share with us some of the female centric daily products that you prefer using over male ones. This is one of the purposes ManPossible exists, to educate and share newfound knowledge to better the lives of mankind.
